The Chilito Bloody Mary

There’s the average Bloody Mary...and then there’s the Chilito Bloody Mary.

Ours doesn’t just wake you up, it shakes you up. It’s smoky, spicy, citrusy, and just the right kind of dangerous (in a good way). The Chilito Hot Sauce adds that perfect slow-building heat that makes you sip, smile, and go, “oh yeah, that’s the one.”

And while you’re sipping, know this: every drop of Chilito helps rescue dogs through The Sato Project and Border Tails Rescue. So you’re not just nursing your brunch hangover — you’re helping save dogs in need. 🐾❤️

Serves: 2
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups tomato juice (or high-quality Bloody Mary mix)
  • 3 oz vodka (about 1½ shots per drink)
  • 2 tablespoons Chilito Hot Sauce (adjust for heat level)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon prepared horseradish (optional but classic)
  • Pinch of celery salt
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • Ice

Garnish Ideas (go wild):

  • Celery stalk
  • Lime wedge
  • Pickle spear
  • Olives or cornichons
  • Mini pepper or pickled jalapeño
  • Tajín rim (for the full flavor experience)

Directions:

  1. Rim the Glass (optional but worth it):
Rub a lime wedge around the rim of two tall glasses, then dip in Tajín or salt.
  2. Mix It Up:
In a shaker or pitcher, combine tomato juice, vodka, Chilito Hot Sauce, lemon juice, Worcestershire, horseradish, celery salt, and black pepper. Stir or shake gently to mix.
  3. Serve:
Fill each glass with ice, pour over the Chilito mix, and garnish however your brunch heart desires.
  4. Sip + Save Dogs:
Enjoy immediately — preferably with something greasy on the side and good company nearby.

🐶 Brunch with Purpose

It’s not just a cocktail. It’s a cause.
Every time you add Chilito to your glass, you’re adding love (and a little heat) for dogs in need.

💡 Pro Tip:

Make it a Chilito Michelada twist — swap vodka for beer and add a splash of lime juice for a lighter, Mexican-inspired version.
